Sales tax with pickup in the State of Ohio is 6.5% of the purchase price in the amount of _$58.50______.
Sales tax does not apply to puppies shipped to destinations outside the state Of Ohio.

The buyer name, address and phone number above are exactly the way they will appear on buyers AKC registration application and microchip registration papers.

SHIPPING

Shipping charges are $350 additional if needed. Puppy is to be shipped: date ___

When the flight date is extended this is to allow the seller to be present at home on the days that puppies from the same litter are to be picked up.
Flight time, flight numbers, airbill number, arrival times and airline name to be supplied to the buyer when reservations have been made. All consideration possible is made to the buyers schedule when shipping arrangements are made.

A $300 deposit is required for the reservation of a puppy if the puppy has not yet reached 8 weeks of age. If the puppy is 8 weeks of age or older no deposit is required but payment in full is required before shipping of the above puppy.
If the puppy is to be shipped prepayment of $350.00 for puppies up to 50 pounds weight in addition to the price of the puppy must also be received 24 hours before the puppy will be shipped. Larger puppies/dogs require higher shipping fees, fee to be quoted to the buyer when the seller has made shipping arrangements and before payment for puppy/dog has been received from the buyer.
Declared value to the airline for shipping purposes is $1200.

NAMING OF YOUR PUPPY

The buyer agrees that this puppy will carry the BLACKSTONE name on his/her AKC registration application. If this requirement is not met Blackstone Kennel Rottweiler Puppy Guarantee will become void on the date of AKC certificate issue. Guarantee will also become void if the puppy is not registered with the AKC.
No registered kennel name signature is required on the AKC registration application. The name Blackstone is required as part of the puppy’s AKC registered name. (Examples are; Blackstone’s Angelic Night, Bronson Von Blackstone)

 

Once a deposit is made, it is a commitment by the buyer to purchase this puppy and is therefore NON- REFUNDABLE. Deposit may be moved to a future litter due to unforeseen circumstances in the buyer’s life.

Seller can not guarantee any specific height, weight or coloring at maturity.

Buyer agrees that this puppy is to be spayed/neutered by 8 months of age and will have limited AKC registration papers unless other wise specified herein.
For puppies reserved before birth or before 7 weeks of age the microchip number is to be supplied to the buyer within 3 business days after the chip is implanted, normally 5-7 weeks of age.

Blackstone Kennel guarantees that to the best of their knowledge this puppy is in good health and free from disease as attested to by an accompanying certificate of health issued by a veterinarian licensed in the State of Ohio.

If the buyer would like to have a pre-purchase veterinarian examination with report sent directly to them from the veterinarian of their choice licensed in Trumbull County, Ohio the seller will take the puppy to the vet appointment for the buyer. Buyer will be responsible for all pre-purchase exam and testing fees to be paid by the buyer directly to the veterinarian of their choice.
This exam would be in addition to the vet check that is done for all Blackstone Kennel Rottweiler puppies before they leave for their new homes.
This puppy’s vaccinations will be current at the time of transfer. (1 Neopar at 4 weeks, 1 combination puppy shot at 6 weeks of age and worming, every 2 weeks from date of birth will be current at the time of transfer.
Vaccinations may be moved by a few days if the breeder and/or vet deem this necessary for the particular puppy’s health and well being.
A health record for said puppy will be given to the buyer at the time of purchase along with AKC registration application, Home Again Microchip registration application, five generation pedigree, diet instructions, puppy’s normal food starter supply and bill of sale/receipt for said puppy.
If you should choose to allow vaccination of your puppy/dog without allowing at least 2 weeks from the date of the last vaccination or allow mutiple vaccinations within any given 2 week period of time the seller will not be held responsible for any adverse reactions. This also applies to 8 week old puppies or puppies/dogs that are older that have received vaccination before leaving the breeder’s kennel within 2 full weeks of pick up/shipment.

The buyer accepts full responsibility for said puppy’s well being and actions upon taking physical possession of said puppy. Physical possession of this puppy by the buyer starts at the time of being received either at pick up at Blackstone Kennel or at the time the puppy is received by the airline for shipment. 

The buyer will have their puppy examined the next business day after taking physical possession by a licensed veterinarian at the buyer’s expense. If this puppy does not pass the health examination due to a congenital defect the buyer must notify the seller immediately (within the first 3 business days of taking physical possession). The buyer will then return the puppy with a written report from the attending veterinarian and all of the unaltered AKC and Home Again microchip registration paperwork. This is to be done within 7 calendar days of the purchase date, purchase date is the day the puppy is either picked up at Blackstone Kennel, shipped by air to the buyer or delivered to the buyer by agent.
Buyer is responsible for any and all transportation fees for said puppy. The seller will then replace this puppy and if there are no puppies available from the same litter a replacement puppy of same sex and value/quality will be given out of the first available litter.
If the buyer wishes to replace said puppy with a higher quality/value puppy the buyer must pay the difference in the price between the original puppy and the replacement puppy. Buyer is responsible for transportation fees for replacement puppy.

 AT NO TIME WILL MONEY BE REFUNDED.

The puppy must be paid for in full 7 calendar days in advance of shipping date or if to be picked up payment must take place before leaving the premises. Payment by check must have cleared our bank before the puppy can leave the premises.

If purchase price for said puppy is not paid in full by 8 weeks of age, it will be placed in another home with the buyer forfeiting the deposit and their rights to this puppy unless the buyer makes special arrangements before the puppy reaches 8 weeks of age. If purchaser has placed the deposit on a puppy younger than 8 weeks of age and intends to take physical possession of the puppy at a date later than the 8 week old date, special arrangements may be made without care/boarding charges for up to 30 days after the puppy reaches 8 weeks of age but the puppy must be paid for in full by the time the puppy reaches 8 weeks of age.

Blackstone Kennel/ Elizabeth Smith guarantees for 2 years from the date of birth that this puppy will not suffer from genetically transmitted congenital diseases or crippling hip dysplasia. If any of these conditions should manifest in the puppy within 2 years from date of birth Blackstone Kennel/Elizabeth Smith will replace this puppy with a puppy of equal or better value.
Seller can not guarantee that this dog/puppy will receive OFA certified status, just that s/he will not suffer from crippling hip dysplasia.

AT NO TIME WILL MONEY BE REFUNDED.

No replacement will be given if said puppy/dog has been bred. The reason for this is you should not have bred the dog/puppy without first doing hip xrays and vet health testing. If you had done your job properly the dog would not have been bred and would have been replaced for you.

If said puppy/dog has been altered, replacement puppy will come with limited registration marked on the AKC application paper.

If at any time the buyer should have a change in life circumstances and would no longer be able to provide a loving home for this puppy, buyer agrees to return the puppy to Blackstone Kennel/ Elizabeth Smith to be placed in a new home rather than taking the dog/puppy to any pound/shelter. 
All money, if any, received for this rehomed rottweiler dog/puppy would be forwarded to the original buyer, minus any necessary veterinary fees.
Fees for care will be deducted from the resale price if the dog/puppy is not rehomed within 30 days from the date of return.

This puppy guarantee/purchase agreement is non transferable and applies only to the above said puppy with corresponding microchip number.

All Blackstone Kennel puppies/dogs are welcome to be returned home at any age for any reason or no reason. AKC registration, AKC registration name do not matter. If we bred the dog/puppy you may return them at any life stage for any reason and we will do our very best to place your dog/puppy in a loving home as rapidly as possible.
